A Directory, on Purpose
RetailSportsbooks.com exists because “where can I actually walk in and bet?” is still a harder question than it should be. The answer changes by state, by tribal compact, by whether the book is a casino floor or a kiosk next to the kitchen.
This is a nationwide city-and-state directory for retail sportsbooks: casinos, racetracks, resorts, stadiums, and the bars that are licensed to take a ticket. It is not a player-prop blog, not a single-sport microsite, and not an odds screen.
Phase A is the map. We seeded the major walk-in markets — Nevada, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Illinois, and the other places people already fly for a book — and we left honest empty pages for states that do not have a legal window. When a listing is directory data that still needs a day-of check, we say so.
Brand colors are locked: midnight navy, electric lime, white. The product URL is the real domain, not a preview hostname. Indexing stays off until Mike flips it.
If a listing is wrong, tell us. If you operate a retail book and want it represented accurately, same door.
